The director of these two movies showed similarities of how it was directed. Hence, indicating the style of the director that common men often do not notice.

It was only through a basic 'film appreciation' module did I gained perspectives. Its mise-en-scene was similar in terms of; the irritating-sharp-audio shorts that potrayed the internal madness driving the main actors into their suicide, front-view personal camera angle that indicated the paranoid expressions as the actors faced impending doom, and many more.

A class different from mainstream movies is what i would dub these movies. Highlighting the artistic nature of directing.

Lastly, the Question that shall take us forward to our next big search, "Are European directors that more creative than Hollywood filmakers?"

Giving Up

Remember the times we used to give up? Those moments where we felt like there was no hope to hold onto. I felt it during some of my first few duties at the fire station. At that time, my inner self showed to the light of day how feeble my spirits could be. Be so weak, that all the dream I could have achieve and done, had simply slipped out of sight.

The talks I've made about fighting the inner self and persevering through difficult times didn't came to mind. Because it was no longer about talking, but acting itself. How far I could really go when the mind is test outside it's comfort zone and the body is push above its limits. How far it seemed wasn't really that far. As I soon realised after the scenario drills, that I could have push harder.

It was painful to be reminded of how weak I was. That I didn't walk the talk. But yet, it serve it's purpose well. I realised that it made me more humbler, and aim to strive harder. Hence, to have given up I learned to stand up. More firmer and taller.

However, giving up itself should not be an option, as if it was, then we had truly not pushed hard enough, because we believe it was an option and will simply give up that easily.

Moral of the story: There is no such thing as never gives up,

but there is such a thing as to not gives up easily.

Time and time again we fret and complain about our daily life. The tendency of finding comfort in letting our negative emotions go make us forget that it is truly better to think on the bright side.

Yes, sharing with our close ones the thing we hate the most is good. Good to open up about our problems, to let out those bottled anger and sadness of our miserable life. But, have we ever realised the no. of times we been doing that compared to the no. of times we talked about how good life was?

Think about it for a minute. Reflect back through your recent conversations. And see yourself as who you are. Optimistic or pessimistic? Or even optimistic pessimist?

Let us now change the way we are, by reminding ourselves that we SHOULD think happy thoughts. Hey, at least save our friends ass off from the emotional chatter that we often make shall we?

Sometimes your life may seems perfect, so much so that you forget that there may be gaps. Hence, judging that the problems may not rely within you, was actually the basic mistake you made.

What's more, you are not the only one leading the perfect lifestyle. There's more than a billion people in the world, so how can there be only one.

Therefore, why not shape yourself better first rather than shaping the world better. Hypothetically speaking, the world will be much greater if you had change yourself exceptionally.

Visual Artist's Dilemma

I took a note, from a digital art book, which states that most artists are visual creatures. What I believe they meant was that artist see things in their head, visions of what is to come or how an idea had blossomed to form a complex picture. The overall big picture that is the end product of whatever they had ponder about.

Once that picture/vision has been shape, it forms to be the goal of the artist, and then it will be his duty to do what is necessary to reach it.

However, the difficulty for the artist is during the need to explain or portray that mental picture to anyone. It requires the help of detailed drawings, specific words descriptions, and other related-media. What's more, if the artist himself may not be that intellectually capable, then it distorts the way he describes them.

One analogy is like when an architect of engineering, who is capable of visualising how a complicated new machine works, but may not necessarily know the right technological terms to explain his creation. Hence, his peers/workers may not be able to comprehend what he is trying to achieve nor can work toward that particular goal.

In the end, the artist does most of the leg work for his own creations, and even if he achieve it, ages will have passed. But then again, he would have been crowned a genius.

A simple research on brainwaves gave a surprising link to my current sleeping disorder.

Here is a a quick summary:

What seems to be the case is that since I daydream frequently and often full of ideas, Theta brainwaves are roaming through my mind on most occasion. Due to the this fact, my brainwaves can easily switch to Delta mode causing me to feel sleepy despite the hour of that day. Therefore, providing a vague yet meaningful explanation of my sleeping disorder.

Spirits of the Jungle

4-12 Aug 2010.
Location: Brunei Kampong Batang Duri, Temburung, Brunei Darulsalam,

A period where Man Vs Wild program was running in my life channel. It was my first time ever jungle trekking with camping. Nonetheless, my mind was all prep-up for what was to come. Expecting worst scenarios, the whole journey from point-to-point was appreciable. No major fights, only small arguments. What was the kicker was that I had to be the navigator. Fortunantely, smartalex Bryan was my assistant navigator. A blessing I assure you that. Someone who I can truly work with.

Our team of 18 consisted of; White Azhar, Kampung boy Faisal, Paddington Imran, Wak Imran, A'lvl student Bryan, Silat artist Firdaus, Fashionista Aydil, Sotong pair Chua & Ong, Section buddy Riduan, Joker Haikal, Positive Fahmie, Makjanda Farreze, Floorball player Ozalis, Jap writer Yuji, Whining Muhaimin, FI Azzan, and lastly a happy MEal.

The 2 instrutors; Abang Faisal (OBSG) & Encik Jamil (OBBR).

With our hearts combined, we are the Pateh Tuba!

The 9-days ordeal, though exaggeratedly extreme, shaped part of my life worth noting. The experiences gained left its' mark as the best jungle living ever. The tent set-up was not as hard as I once believed. The trekking was simply superb. The bathe by the open river during a heavy downpour with NSF companions was something you can never buy. Lastly, the food.......was one-of-a-kind; Pure Milo sachets, baked beans with bread, rice dumplings with canned chicken curry, and lastly, the infamous MaggiMee!

One of my childhood ambitions relive itself through this epic minor adventure. Other than embracing mother nature, I learnt that the jungle brings out the inner side of you that we all so often mask from public scrutinies. Amidst desperate times, people bring out the best or worst in them (a new point added to my psychology of human nature). However, to nurture the capability to cope with such character is much harder than I thought. Especially when they may ticked you off to the very skin. I ponder over the question, "Do others do really come before self, or must we take care of ourselves before we can take care of others?"

Ethical & moral dilemmas were subjects I often wonder. Wonder what can be/are the solutions.

Moreover, we also need to be reminded of the things we were once taught, not just discussed & forget and choose not to implement them. The ideas, techniques, moral lessons, etc. are actually more valuable than how they are assume to be. But, most of the time human nature prevails, and often than not, we carry on with our present life and forget.

My advice, capture each special moment through a diary, blog, video, a song played repeatedly at that moment, your freaking brain memory (if you can recall frequently), etc.

When it comes to the jungle, respect mother nature, your peers, and yourself.
Or the spirits may just haunt you.......

I didn't expect to be in SCC within 2 weeks. Fast game eh? Now on a pilgrimage to submit my soul to regimentation & discipline. Running, push ups, jumping jacks, more running. The endurance build up is tremendous that IPPT test can be just a breeze.

More to say, clocking below 9m45s for 2.4km was a real personal best. Nonetheless, we need to push the standards and achieve more. In the weeks to come, physical phase going to be more demanding, and I am definitely looking forward to it. Especially, the bunker gears training. It's like weight vest training with comfort paddings. I am feeling, stronger, better, faster already.

Mental research is the most important key point right now. Because right now, I can't climb for shits, but I can run like dogs.

Prefer not to complain about trivial matters, and prefer not to be dampen by the spirits within should be principles of life practice daily.

Pause for a moment and just recap how you had lived your life this entire day. Look at the time wasted on negative thoughts or doing things left undone. Does spending that hours in front of a computer truly deliver the happiness you were looking for? Technology, it never fails to capture the minds of lost souls, and virtually trapping them in an illusion of contented hearts.

These short phrases give me an understanding of why I choose to leave the company. I had no heart then to do what I was doing. Leaps of Faith

Much of us fantasize each day what could have happen if we had taken the other path of our decisions. We see things much greener on the other side once we feel pinch on one side. Hence, we regret our decisions and start to ponder 'what if's.

But it is these leap of faiths that make us who we are. They are the foundations of our being and it is how we shape ourselves presently to it that makes the difference for future outcomes. Decisions do not really affect future outcomes unless that is the way we choose to think. It would be very saddening if someone does believe that decisions affects outcomes greatly, as it generates a very narrow mindset.

I've regretted several times not to have choose the other paths, but only to be reminded by myself that whatever happened have happen, so it was best to focus on something that you can do, rather than something that you can't do.

I just took a leap of faith today at a job interview, and am just hoping for the best! For some things, are best left with destiny.

With great power comes great responsibility. The quote couldn't be any more true. Power can be attain easily once you learn a trick or two. But to control it takes alot more effort than to attain it.

The responsibility of making hard right decisions bears within the most powerful men. For they control how the world revolves.

A preference to work alone doesn't come voluntarily for me. It just seems like a natural behaviour.

No worries of anyone cocking up. All ideas are open and dependent on a single person. No need the hassle of thinking twice, hence no need for higher intelligence. You make the right decisions, or the wrong ones, and all blame is entirely place on you. Leading to the absence of unfairness.

However, one man can't do every single thing on his own. He still need those chess pieces to serve the higher purposes.

What is even worse is one man against an entire army. I cannot fathom such behaviour. It just shows how one man can stir up such fickle-minded people. Moreover, how these people are plentiful. For I thought people use their brains often. Maybe, its not worth the thought in the first place.

Playing mind games is tiring. As well as a waste of time. No man should be made to do things unnecessarily.

People these days, just think for themselves all too often. To reach that ultimate goal, we need back up. We need to find it somehow.

Coming of Age

The new year is coming soon and I'm starting to feel a year older already. For the past 19 years, time had flew passed too fast. We sometimes lay and wonder, what have we done with our lives.

As I put myself in that scenario, I want to have see myself smiling for all the adventures experienced, and to have manage to pull through life ups and downs. To live that fulfilling life that I always dream of. And most definitely, to have shared that experiences with someone I truly adore.

Life is short. Hence, it is important that we live our life as if there was no tomorrow, as if each moment we breathe was like our breath was taken away by the magnificent beauty of the world. Dreams are there to motivate us and inspire us. These fantasies, they manifest through our heart and make us hope. They capture our mind and push us to the limit. The temptations of it all could not be resist.

Flight. It gives me a sense of freedom to express my free will. I will feel like I was on top of the world. Imagine. As you move fast high above the sky, the sight & sound of the vast landscapes gives you the euphoria similar to that in the heavens. For these are just vague expressions of what dreams have come on to me, I clearly cannot put it into words.

To reach that vision, one of his most important attributes was to always have backup for every single thing he creates. Hence, a great foresight follows suit. And the rest..............is something you should now think of.

Fever

Definition:
Fever is part of our body's defense mechanism. When our bodies are fighting infections, our body temperature rises.

Symptoms:
Chills, aching everywhere, listlessness, elevated body temperature on the thermometer, red cheeks, and feeling hot or cold, shaking. The body basically shivers and has chills when the fever is rising, especially rapidly and sweats when the fever is dropping, or breaking, as some say.

Causes:
Our blood and lymphatic systems produce white blood cells which are what fight off infection. As our white blood cells increase in number, like an army to fight the germs, they go faster and faster attacking the germs, this causes our bodies to heat up, thus causing the fever or rise in body temperature. The hypothalamus in the brain, which is the body's heat regulating mechanism is affected by the pyrogens, or the white blood cells that are produced to fight the infection. So, in effect, we can say that the fever is what is fighting the infection. That is why it is not good to try to bring down a fever too much or too fast.

Measures of Prevention:
Some comfort measures for someone with a fever include fever-reducing medications, cool wet rag on the head, cover in light blanket (heavy blankets actually trap the heat), avoid taking hot baths, this will only increase your temperature, drink plenty of fluids, especially clear cool liquids such as water and fruit juice to prevent dehydration, if the fever is high, you may give a light sponge bath using tepid water only, not cool or cold water, and no alcohol! Keep the person covered with a towel as not to get a chill. An infant or small child with a high fever can dehydrate very quickly, especially if they are losing fluids some other way, as well, such as diarrhea or vomiting. If they are not vomiting, give them as much liquid as they can tolerate to prevent dehydration. There are specially formulated liquids on the market for replenishing the body and maintaining electrolyte balance.

The Finger Injury

Anatomy:
The tendon that bends middle joint of the finger, is the shorter tendon. Called the flexor digitorum sublimis, or FDS.

Types of Injury:
Tendons can be stretched (strained) or ruptured during rock climbing.

Symptoms:

Pain when the finger is bent.
Mild swelling over the joint closest to the fingertip.
Tenderness along the finger on the palm side of the hand.

Treatment:
Because the tendon cannot heal unless the ends are touching, a torn (ruptured) tendon must be repaired or sewn back to the muscle or bone. This requires surgery.

It can take up to two months before the repair is healed and it is strong enough that the hand can be used without protection. It may take another month or so before the hand can be used with any force.

My Conclusion:
I definitely requires no surgery, though the loud cracking sound meant something serious. Moreover, the two-three months break seems very demanding.

The 2 weeks of vacation brought me cool friends, newer experiences, better knowledge, and most of all, Climbing Upgrades (say like power up booster only).

The first week spent at my kampung was very simple. You can't really get connected with technology over there. So the only means of fun was the cable TV and socialising with my relatives. Though it's not often do I get to see them, it's the feeling of warmness of the soul from them that made me enjoy my stay there. It was interesting to hear rioting/fighting stories from my cousin especially. Fast fact from him, his kampung was more of a 'controlled territorial' area. Meaning if someone disturb any of the people, then the person would definitely be trying to stage a war. Sure sounds like a Mafia story alright. Mess with the family, down with the fishes.

By the second week, it was all about climbing everyday. The objectives was to try to push the limits while having fun. But most of the time the latter will tend to take over, and the development was no longer the target. It was like meditation to have force the mind to fight the dampen spirits sometimes. To put the mind in the right focus and bring forth the 'Bankai' mode.

Moreoever, the company of Malaysian climbers was a welcoming treat. They were a fun bunch of people and knew what it meant to be outgoing. Even met up with Sobhi's fire poi group. He, the 'cheong' of the group, tempted me to play. Of course, there was not much style nor tricks I can perform. I ended my performance with a momentary burnt on the arms and the 'helicopter'.

Well, they say you should save the best for last. Basically, the last day of our trip was expended at Putrajaya. I termed the place, the World Cup Climbing Centre! A bloody damn good place. TAK NAK BALIK LAH SIOL! (Don't want to go home ****!) Since a picture says a thousand words, I shall let you all see the million of words right here.

The Time Stood Still

It felt as though the minutes just stopped, but everything was still in motion. The mind was not wondering in the past nor the future. I had stop fantasizing and it was an uncommon phenomenon.

What surprised me was the absence of my eagerness about the end of the Ramadhan period and the impending trip to Malaysia. There was no thrill whatsoever. Instead, I sat in front of my laptop and witness changes of the present state. It was stoning in epic couch potato style.

The only way to escape this twilight zone is to switch off the laptop. For it will definitely halt the procrastination, and start the initiatives.

The true genius is insightful, clever, original and brings about change. The true genius is hard to come by.
How you can be the genius at your work

If you want to become a true genius you are in for a bit of a sore reality shock. Its not going to happen. True geniuses that are remembered as true geniuses are often born with a spark and they exhibit the qualities early in life. It is not often that a 30 year old at a desk job becomes a genius all of a sudden.

Now you know the trick. To be a genius at work you do not need to be Leonardo Da Vinci. You need to be “perceived” as a genius by the others around you. A genius, after all, is a relative term. Steps to becoming more like a genius

3. Change your perspective
The greatest geniuses in history have looked at simple issues with a different perspective. The greatest inventions in history have taken a simple idea and expanded on it.

If you need to solve a problem at work you need to give it time and attention. Do not be turned off if you do not make a break-through right away.

For the past few days, I've been dreaming about running away from something. And the scene and location changes everytime. But all the while, I was just heavily panting constantly and running from something unknown. That was why I got a sense of dejavu when I watch Transformers 2. Sam runnning away from those Decepticons tt kept on shooting randomly and causing those big explosions. It was like I can put myself in his shoes.

However, the point of this post is not about running away. It's about running towards your dreams. How many of us can recollect how our friends or families laugh at us when we told them our dreams, especially those far-fetch ones. I'll bet it's quite a significant amount.

When I told my close friends about what I was going to be. They just simply ridicule me. Saying I don't have the looks. This and that. But at the moment, the tables have turn. Not that I want to shoot them back (although it seems sweet to do so :P). In summary, I had set the paths to my goal, and slowly achieving it. While the three of them had setbacks and now suffering from their own dilemmas.

One quit JC by first year and continue to study in SP.

The other two continued their JC lifestyle, had relatively not so good results that they are trying hard to get into Singapore's university.

And all three had advise me to join them in JC when I knew I would not do well in there.

So moral of the story is, Don't let anyone stop you from chasing your dreams!

Limit, Beliefs, and Purpose

Everyone has their limit. We only find it when we push to reach that limit and can no longer perform any further. So what do we do after that? Does it means our journey ends there? Or do we strive further even though we could no longer exceed the limit?

If you had read in between the lines then you would have began to realise that it then relies on your beiliefs of how you want to take control over the matter.

If you had believed that you could no longer exceed, then you would have fail to see flaw in your mentality that is stopping you from going over the comfort zone.

If you had a stronger mind, then you would not have accept the fact of your limited capabilities and would have fight for something more.

To push the boundaries of your body till it physically and mentally torments itself that you start asking yourself, "What was the purpose of all of these?"

The Club

I chance upon a journey of a lifetime.

The first few steps to the club was of much confidence for having made a decision. Behind the table was no one that I know. Somehow, I knew things were gonna be alright. That was the day I registered myself in the club for $25 bucks.

Fireshow, amazing people, and cool audio system. It was something I did not expect but made me feel on cloud nine. From then on, I dedicated myself. Doing what I can to contribute, committing myself, proving to the rest that I was dead serious about it. Young and ambitious, that was the era of it.

Time flies by, and the next thing I knew I was part of an organisation that I had to lead someway. Friendly people, crazy people, funny people, depressive people, strange people. All of them tells a story. Inspirational and depressive cycles continued like an everyday phenomenon. However, I never regretted my decision to have join the club.

Presently, handling social creatures with sensitive minds is what my duty calls. To be a peacekeeper and create a utopia world is what I want. Why can men not dream of the impossible?

I shall now place a token of hope to the club and its upbringing.

1) When you reach a point where u tot u know everythin, then u reach tt point where u hv to remember everything. Recalling back what was taught is harder, tt I belive we nid a 10 Trillionbyte hardisk for our brain.

2) Hatta taught me if u hate smthin, then the more u shld want it. Then only do things get easier. So those pinchers and small footholds.....I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! XOXO

3) Having fun is the way to go. All this mental discipline shit is what can kills a man. Seriously, dun take it seriously! Go and enjoy rock climbing wif ur frens. Then do secret trainings behind their backs! hehehe!

Woohooo......First of all, I wan congratulate myself for achieving 20 laps of swimming. Thanks to Weixue, for setting that standards, Randy for bein the kaki always on to anything, Arul for bein a competitor, Roger who is now off to sailing and long gone and no longer able to join us, and lastly Ali and Jay who is still learning how to swim! haha

Anw, after pure water cardio in sch with a gd 1hr++ mins wif Mr Beanie at the rockgym, we set off to ECP for the nit cyclin trip!

Upon reachin ther, Mr Wayne mushroom, lead the small gang of me,randy, and him into the bigsplash area on the left of ECP. FReakin further away frm mac we suppose to go to! Damn u mushroom and ur navigating sense. But no worries Wayne, coz u my fren, I 4give u! heheheh

Suddenly...............I realise i dun wan to write such a long blog post!

Hence summarise everything, we cycled to CBD usin the 'Marina Bridge' which was my first time ridin on the expressway. Then, we had 'Babi' tah Huay Break for supper which was my first after a very very very long time. Then, etc etc happen and we reach bck ECP at 4am++!

Now here's the climax. Wayne, Randy, Ali, and me waited till fuckin 8am++ just to return our bikes (thx to kenneth and Terrytubby, i duno which one but must be one of u!) when we cld hv lock it ther and put the locking key in a bloody key hole!!!!!

Anw, frm the ECP I went bck to rockgym to slp, eat, shit b4 settin off to CA to lead climb and boulder wif my frens FULLSTOP!

Association with rust

Having a 4-day weekend may not be as fun as u may think. Especially if u dun noe how to spend the time well.

You just get stuck not knowing what to do next. Hence, leaving urself wif means of living a degenerate lifestyle momentarily.

Lately I realise I was refering to myself as 'I' and not 'We'. What happen to the not self-centred and understanding me?!?!?! I read an article or what somewhere which intepreted that to refer to oneself as 'I' is to be thinking of one's own life and not be bothered bot others, while to refer to oneself as 'We' is to be thinking bot the best interest of society and do what is right or needed.

Maybe because I have too much of a problem that I am incapable of showing care and concern abot the rest. There are some life theories that seem to contradict with each other. Imbalance I conclude may be the source of the problem.

Or is it really just me?

Welcoming The New Year!

This time, the new year was celebrated with much delight. It was the 1st time I went somewhere to commemorate the new year. The past years, it was just couch-potato style.

For now, I shall pen down on what happen before & after the clock strikes twelve:

Before:
Basically I could go home as early as 10am on the 31st dec, due to the fact tt my maths tutorial was optional. Or mayb better, cld hv just make a self-declare holiday since the 1st two lessons in the mornin wasn smthin of great importance (tend to sleep in em too! no surprise ther eh.).

After playing chess in maths lesson which ended by 12pm, I make my way to the rock gym in hype mode. Totally amazingly, alot of ppl were ther. I guess every1 was cheerful and was anticipating their upcoming plans for the day.

I made small talk as I proceed thru the crowd and befallen myself on the 'lucky 8' ( for those who duno, lucky 8 is the famous cue ball bag where every1 hv slept on or maybe with! hahaha!) While waiting for Terry BoBerry to appear, I learnt to play 3 doors down - this time on the electric guitar. Had to take some quikie lessons wif Naz. Damn bah-ger noe how to sings well too.

After:
*Fastforward to the interesting part..............
Hans, Terry, Hairul & girl, and me were sitting our ass off at east coast park, by the beach. It was ady 11++pm. Winner menthol (a.k.a. banana) was the brand of cigs choice of the day that we smoke b4 the clock strikes 12 (it would be the last time i smoke hopefully). It was just great sitting & smoking wif em while enjoying the cooling breeze. It brings bck the sentimental value of my old self.

Suddenly, the sky illuminated bright red. It wasn a terrorist attack or anything of tt sort. It was the flares tt had shot up frm several ships tt had lined up along the sea horizon. The public toasted and merry-making in unison.

Life was bliss.

It wasn long b4 Hairul and Terry started the ball rolling. Fire-pois were lighted. Camera was rolling. and ther was ACTION! Burn and burn the pois did. Play and play we did. It wasn tt difficult to catch the attention of passer-bys. We were too engrossed in our activities that everythin else didn seem to matter, esp our nervousness.

P.s.--> This will be a too long an entry if I was to go on any further. I shall save the remaining story for another time then.

Once a fren told me.......Given the choice to live a life on earth again or the openly gift of going to heaven.....he would hv chosen to live on earth.

I was baffled. No doubt I could not comprehend the 'stupid' choice. For all the best pleasures in the world that could hv lay on his hand, he choose the former.

As my artistic mindset (cheh wah......artistic mindset my ass) shape the reasons behind such an impractical decision, I slowly began to understand what he was trying to mean.

As humans, we are given life choices. To make the right ones frm the wrong ones. Or to learn from the wrong ones. Or evn worse, to make the wrong ones again and learn very hard frm them and pray to god that he does help u :P.

For tt is REALITY. If you dun take actions nor think much about it, then u suffer the consequences. And if it was heaven, then everything would be too perfect for you to evn think bout anythin harsh. Hence, may find it revolting coz if u had everything, it also means u had nothing. Get it! Get it! Neither do I, haha! Nah, just kidding.

Basically, I guess it is kinda fun bein a human. Coz u get to make mistakes, and go to hell with them. hahahahah! Just joking.

U lazily eat a mixture tuna sandwich wif full-boiled Yeggs for dinner, and watch any movies u can grasp on the spot! Bolt was crap........Wall-E was decent............and a christmas movie on Channel 5 was just nice. Oh oh, not to 4get the homemade 'Martini' made by good old F&N Orange, Coke, and some Sprite Ice. Yessah!

Oh well, the surrounding still remains quiet in the dead late of the night when ur elder bro & sis still ain home yet. But they dun talk much either. So no diff ther....

Damn, mon went by so damn fast! It was like ystd tt I've went to JWP wif the SPRC guys!

Guess wat happened by monday? Guessx3!?!?!

Well, started off wif a few hours of slp b4 pop got to wake me up to help out at the padang at Khatib stadium. Mind u, i only slpt for 3-4hours only.

And, rain poured like there was tmr, seriously! Was praying and sittin in the middle of the gloomy sky and gettin soaked while the Imam, was givin the speech. Several of the Jihadis, hehe, i mean muslim prayed and cheowed, while pop's fav son stayed behind to support the cause. Haiz. Cool way to end the morning?!?!?!

Then went to enjoy a get-2-gther session wif the sis's frens. Body of Lies, the movie which we watched, was quite a decent show. I gif it a 3 n 1/2 stars! Then we all cheowed to Anjie's house. Didn knew she live in some kind of private aparment or wat. Anw, tt's not the point. Point is: Tried new flavoured sunshine pizza which we bought and taste definitely Yummy (it had yegg!).

The night ended wif sheesha wif karsten, jay,n hilman! Which was a sleepy rush frm Anjie's house to Haji Lane! Almost went back to bad habits of slpin in train and missin my destination (Lucky, 2day is lucky day!). Ouh ya, we went to some mini-boulderin sessions wif slippers and ate mac for suppers! In which case, I puke twice along the process (the headaches still killin me now!)!

AND NOW, the moment of truth!

I am packin my bags for camp5! Yessah! and my mind is definitely tired at the same time! Very TIREd!

Gonna Miss the Ji's and Jah's of me life! Adioz guys, See u in another life time! :P

The much anticipated sheesha outing with my sec frens prove to be a miscalculation of its positive effects. Renewing lost time with old companions give me inspirations to my present state of dull mind. Their intelligence in drawing out interesting topics has bring about the old self in me, which was smthing I was yearning for.

I feel good. Good acquaintance is good. I guess everthing is GOOD!

I realise that being in poly have its pros & cons. You have the time to manage ur life to both sports & studies. However, it does not push you to excel further in studies. Smthin most essential to be living in SG. Heck.

One thing is for sure: I begin to realise I was born for a greater purpose. Or so to believe.

Whatever it is, I felt like a New Man.

After a night of non-stop movements that ended with a decent chick flick movie at cineleisure, I made my way back home in tired form. My keys reverberated through out the corridor in the dawn of the day. As I unlocked the door and closed it with a minor thud, all eyes were on me when I made my way through the living room and onto my bed. Ignoring the attention of my siblings, I lay down on my bed with much relief before dosing off into a deep sleep.

".....," I could not remember exactly what he said in that dream. But Dave Graham actions and mine depicted that we were having a discussion about rock climbing. He smiled or what not when I asked him a certain something.

Then, the whole scene remained with a change of character. A blondy appeared before me all beautiful. We were laying on a bed of grass on sunny afternoon, surrounded by big rocks and white flowers if I remember vaguely. Her expression of tenderness enlightened my mood that I could not ignore. I was like chasing after her as she stood up like a child and moved away gracefully and giggled. All so beautiful.

I woke up only to know that it was all a dream. It was already 2pm++. Sighed.

After waking up in a more decent manner, I asked myself this question, "Am I missing something?"

Cldn 'on' my laptop at all. Best option was to play my long time fren, the PS2. Played from 2pm-2am. Seriously. Completed Ace combat 4 (boring ACe series), and star wars: force unleashed by sun afternn (saviour of the wkends home getaway! :P)

Sunday
Went to JB wif elder sis. Kinda cooled tt she agreed to watch madagascar 2. hehe. I think i nd more penguin frens, can be such cool pals. (STOP BEIN GAY Iman). Best part is tt my sis payed for our lunch cum breakfast everytime we go JB. hehe. bastard ah me. (now u guys noe why i go ther in the 1st place, just kiddin eh) But she doesn seem to mind. at least we hv a 2-way street kinda thing. tt's the way it had been.

Reflections
I have many frens. Likes them. Loves some. But what i love is frens who can look up at me and greet me wif open-hearted gestures and all smiles. Ur happiness is what makes life so much better and what matters to me.

I dun hv time for every1 of u evn though I want to. and I rly want to spend time wif u guys. But life has a way of bein unfair to me and i hope u guys understand tt statement. This is no sad excuse.

Fever killed my time, my mood, my climbing, my discipline. Being stuck at home is the least i wanted, coz i just roam thru the net aimlessly. Evn I hv no idea what am I writing.

But one thing for sure, I've bn not myself. Or choose to be ignorant of myself. Its hard to change my character for the better.

Points that I learn from Chris Lindner:

1)After a month-long rest or so, to get bck ur climbing form, do endurance-2-power b4 power-2-endurance training. As in more of 15-20 moves fun & easy routes.

2)From point 1, its better to rest for a long time from injuries than to worsen them and recover from them at a much longer time.

3)Competition is actually the least priority in the world. But due to sg culture of gettin sponsorship thru competition, than it speaks otherwise.

4)Lesser intense training is 2 days training 1 day rest, More intense training is 1 day training 1 day rest.

5)Sponsored climbers are not usually paid alot of money. Just enuf to pay the daily needs and travelling fees.
